Fill your chair.

Fill your chair and win back your evenings. Five short lessons for owner-operated salons, beauty rooms, spas and barbershops: cut no-shows with reminders and deposits, fill cancellations from a waitlist, catch the after-hours bookings you're missing, win back lapsed clients, and keep your socials ticking over. Real Aussie tools like Fresha, Timely and Square Appointments, honest numbers, no hype.

For owner-operated salons, beauty rooms, spas and barbershops tired of empty chairs from no-shows and bookings slipping away after hours. Real Aussie tools, honest numbers, and the personal touch kept firmly yours.

What you'll learn
Lesson 1 The no-show problem and your booking foundation No-shows are the single biggest money leak in a salon, and most start with a booking system that can't help. A clear look at the maths, plus the AU booking tools that everything else bolts onto. 7 min
Lesson 2 Reminders, deposits and waitlist auto-fill Reminders cut no-shows on their own, and reminders plus a deposit cut them far more. How to set them up without scaring clients off, and how a waitlist fills the gap when someone cancels. 8 min
Lesson 3 A 24/7 AI receptionist and online booking Around half of all bookings happen when you're shut or your hands are full. How online booking and an after-hours AI receptionist catch the work you're quietly losing to voicemail. 8 min
Lesson 4 Rebooking, loyalty and reviews The cheapest client to book is the one you already have. How automated rebooking, reactivation of lapsed clients and review requests keep your column full and lift you up the local search results. 7 min
Lesson 5 Social and marketing content in your tone, and your 90-day plan Captions, promos and replies drafted in minutes instead of eaten at 9pm, in your tone. Plus a calm 90-day plan to roll the whole lot out, one proven win at a time. 6 min

Work through them in order. The single way in is lesson 1.

Before you start.

Is the course really free?
Yes, completely. All five lessons are free to read with no sign-up. If you'd like the fill-in workbook to work out what no-shows cost you and pick your first fix, that's a quick email, and that's the only thing asked for anywhere on here. There's a free one-page summary too, with nothing asked for.
Who is this for?
Owner-operated salons, beauty rooms, spas and barbershops, from a single chair to a small team. No tech background needed. If you can use a smartphone and your booking app, you can do everything in here.
Do I need to buy any software to follow along?
No. The lessons name the booking tools that work well in Australia, like Fresha, Timely and Square Appointments, so you know what's out there, but reading and planning costs nothing. You only spend money if and when you decide a fix is worth it, and the workbook helps you check the maths first.
How long does it take?
About 36 minutes all up, across five short lessons. Read it between clients or one lesson a night, whatever suits.
Will this make my salon feel less personal?
No, and it shouldn't. The whole course keeps AI on the reminders, the after-hours calls, the rebooking nudges and the admin. The welcome at the chair and the service stay yours, completely. This is about filling your column and winning back your evenings, not replacing the human bit.
Is this just a sales pitch?
No. It's the same honest advice JDCS would give over a coffee, written down, so you walk away genuinely more sorted. If you later want a hand setting any of it up, the first conversation is free and you keep the plan either way.
When you're ready

Want a hand setting it up in your salon?

Once you know which fix is worth it, the next step is getting it running without the headache: the right booking setup, reminders and deposits dialled in, and your empty chairs turned into booked clients. That first conversation is free, and you keep the plain-English plan either way.
