AI for your clinic.

Practical AI for clinics, with privacy front and centre. Five short lessons on where clinic time leaks, AI scribes used safely with consent and clinician review, AI reception and online booking, fewer no-shows, and the governance that keeps patient data protected. Written for physio, chiro, podiatry, psychology and small clinics, and it extends to dental, GP and vet.

For physio, chiro, podiatry, psychology and small clinics, and it extends to dental, GP and vet. Privacy first, patients in safe hands, and a clinician always in charge of the care.

What you'll learn
Lesson 1 Where clinic time leaks Notes after hours, a phone that never stops, and patients who quietly drop off. Where the hours really go in a clinic, plus the privacy ground rules that come first when patient data is involved. 7 min
Lesson 2 AI scribes, done safely An AI scribe listens to the consult and drafts your notes, cutting documentation time by half or more. How to use one with patient consent, clinician review, and the data kept where it belongs. 8 min
Lesson 3 AI reception and online booking A busy clinic fields 80 to 100 calls a day, and most are routine. How AI reception and online booking handle the simple ones, free your front desk, and still hand the tricky calls to a person. 8 min
Lesson 4 Recall, reactivation and fewer no-shows The patients who lapsed and the appointments that vanish. How automated recall, reactivation and reminders bring people back and cut no-shows by around 40 percent, all from your practice system. 7 min
Lesson 5 Privacy, governance and your 90-day plan Pulling it together: the Privacy Act in plain English, a one-page clinic AI policy, human oversight as the rule, and a calm 90-day plan you could start on Monday. 7 min

Work through them in order. The single way in is lesson 1.

Before you start.

Is the course really free?
Yes, completely. All five lessons are free to read with no sign-up. If you'd like the fill-in clinic workbook to audit your time leaks and plan your first changes with the team, that's a quick email, and it's the only thing asked for anywhere on here. There's a free one-page summary too, with nothing asked for.
Who is this for?
Owners and practice managers in allied health: physio, chiro, podiatry, psychology, and small clinics generally. The ideas extend cleanly to dental, GP and vet practices too. No technical background needed. If you run patient-facing care and a busy front desk, it's written for you.
Is patient privacy taken seriously?
It leads the whole course. Patient data is sensitive health information under the Privacy Act, so every lesson treats consent, careful data handling and clinician oversight as the starting point, not an afterthought. We name where data should and shouldn't go, and where a human stays in charge.
Will it tell me which exact tools to buy?
It points you at the categories and names current Australian options like Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy and Zanda for practice management, and AI scribes such as Heidi or Lyrebird, so you know what to look at. It stays clear of hard product recommendations and pricing, which move around, and focuses on choosing and using tools safely.
How long does it take?
About 37 minutes all up, across five short lessons. Read it in one sitting or one lesson at a time, whatever suits a clinic day.
Is this just a sales pitch?
No. It's the same honest advice JDCS would give in a conversation, written down, so you walk away genuinely more capable. If you later want a hand putting any of it to work in your clinic, the first conversation is free and you keep the plan either way.
When you're ready

Want this set up properly in your clinic?

Once you've seen where the wins are, the next step is fitting AI into how your clinic actually runs: the right consent and oversight, your practice system at the centre, and patient data kept protected. That first conversation is free, and you keep the plain-English plan either way.
